hotdog sangwich

That’s right – I said SANGWICH. A sandwich is more than just bread and meat. It’s a crazy big dinosaur of a thing with awesome bread, and other tasty bits. So, here is mine: Hotdog SanGwich!

I was at the supermarket today walking aimlessly trying to find something good to eat. I bought bread, and cheese, some more cheese… then I walked over to the deli, and that’s when it hit me…

What you need:
(2) BIG Pearl hot dogs (Big ones!)
(2) knotted sesame rolls (the long ones)
(2) Slices of cheddar cheese
(2) Slices Swiss cheese
Grilled red onion
Mustard ( yellow, brown or Dijon)

Grab those Pearl hotdogs and slice them, length-wise, but not all the way through.  Lay tin foil in your toaster oven and toast on HIGH for 5 minutes. Once the hotdog edges are crispy (important!) and bubbling with juice, remove them and put them inside-face-down on to your knotted sesame rolls. Top with one slice each of cheddar and Swiss, and layer some of those grilled onions (you can also fry them in a pan with a tiny bit of olive oil) and put BACK in the toaster for 2 minutes.  Once you have contained yourself for as long as you can (that would be  2 minutes) take those monsters out and open them up and squeeze some mustard on top.

You know what comes next?… MANGA!!
